Hello! My name is Diego and I am a health social worker. I have been involved in health NGOs since 2005, working mainly with people with cancer and their families. My work during these years has combined individual and family social care, with the development of projects in the field of training and rights defense, both nationally and internationally.
In 2015, together with 3 other people, I formed the MÁS QUE IDEAS Foundation, a non-profit organization that works so that people have more information about how to manage their health and that is especially aimed at people who live with an illness.
My volunteering with the NGO Nepal Sonríe opened a new world for me, knowing the educational needs in contexts of greater vulnerability and the value that civil organizations can contribute. For this reason, I joined the EveryWhere Schools team, where I try to contribute my perspective as a social worker and my experience in NGO management.
