carles.tomas@everywhereschools.org
Hello! My name is Carles and I am a teacher and cooperation and humanitarian aid technician. 6 years ago, I graduated in Primary Education, and after working as a primary school teacher, I decided to re-direct my professional career to humanitarian aid and to the cooperation sector, completing the Master in International Humanitarian Action (NOHA), specialized in humanitarian analysis and design humanitarian aid interventions.
I worked in Greece as a Project Technician for the ACSAR Foundation, coordinating activities focused on the social inclusion and local integration of refugees and asylum seekers. I also collaborated with the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR), in Copenhagen, providing technical assistance in the Education section in a project focused on the schooling of children in situations of forced displacement. I am currently working as an implementation technician at Acción Contra el Hambre in Madrid.
For all these reasons, I joined the Everywhere Schools team where I consider that I can contribute my experience and knowledge in the field of education and cooperation and put it at the service of the NGO.
